Dr. Whitney Dowd, Nurse Practitioner

I was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and I am now raising my family in the same community that I grew up in. I’ve been a nurse for 15 years and a Nurse Practitioner for 9 of those years. I graduated from WTAMU in 2013 and I also recently completed my doctorate at Liberty University.

I have worked in many settings over the last 15 years, most of which have been in primary care. I take pride in my ability to connect with my patients and feel this is an important part of providing professional and comprehensive care.

My priority as a wellness provider is to make my patients feel comfortable and work closely with them to develop a personalized treatment plan while offering beauty and care options that are accessible and attainable.
